…cultural whirlwind….

We’ve had so many awesome experiences in the last 48 hours. We went to Mandir, the largest Hindu temple in North America (actually the largest outside of India) yesterday, and then today we went to a mosque.

You should have seen our girls in long pants, long sleeve shirts and scarves over their necks and heads today as we walked through 100 degree heat, thank goodness it was cool inside.

Our students are so interested in other cultures and religions. They love learning! We
have been so proud of them!

We keep reminding our team that all of these new world views should drive them to dive deeper into the truth of God’s Word….we’ve been starting to understand this verse more and more:

They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen. (‭Romans‬ ‭1‬:‭25‬ NIV)

I think I can say for all of us that we so appreciate the life that we have in Jesus. And these experiences make us even more grateful.

On another note, VBS has been going so well. We have LOVED getting to come alongside partners in the gospel of Jesus. Our kids our stepping outside of their comfort zones and God is increasing their faith.

There is nothing better than kids running to us when we get there and not letting go until we leave.

Tune in tomorrow for more updates about VBS. Each one of our students will be sharing the gospel with a kid tomorrow, pray that they would be courageous and clear and BOLD!

Thanks for praying.
We are LOVING Atlanta….but still plan to come home on Saturday.

  1. I am so glad you are learning about what others believe and pairing it with why we believe what we believe! I am praying for endurance, strength and joy in the last 2 days of this trip.
